FIN WALKER
I am a director, choreographer and educator exploring human behaviour and how past experience shapes the present, both in my creative work and my teaching.
Working with the expressive, moving body of the performer, I aim to communicate the visceral, sensual resonance of what it means to be an emotional being through movement, story and text.
To deepen my understanding of the energetic body—and the interplay between thought, emotion, body and spirit—I have studied a range of somatic practices, as well as Energy Healing and Core Somatics (body psychotherapy). I am a qualified Energy Healer.
My work is devised collaboratively with other artists, creating live performance and film. I also work across theatre, opera, commercials and television.
I have worked as a Physicality & Expression Coach with Ralph Fiennes on his one-man show Four Quartets by T.S. Eliot, and have since collaborated with him on As You Like It. I am currently developing a research project, A Woman and Bird, in collaboration with Paterson Joseph.

Macbeth 5 Acts - Full production. I am presently (2022) working on 'A Macbeth' (Full version) to be performed 2024/25/26. I have just completed a research project made possible by Arts Council England & The Linbury Trust exploring violence through bias: race, gender, disability using the female characters in Macbeth as a vehicle.
